![]() I'm much more active now with more energy throughout the day but I like that I can be active and on my feet on my own terms. Took walk breaks to clear my head and get my blood moving during the 2pm-3pm slump. Working that job made me respect the hell out of blue collar workers who work with their hands and are on their feet ALL day.Īfter I went back into an office job, I made sure to be more active. I took for granted the "boring" office downtime I used to have where I could f' around on reddit, read the news, or shoot the shit with coworkers. I didn't like that I was always so dusty from carrying/opening/packing boxes, my hands were always dirty, and I was just so drained of energy by 5pm that I all I could do after work was eat dinner then go to sleep. That's just me though, maybe I'm a big baby. I did this in between jobs and initially thought it was cool but after a month I was like PLEASE put me back in an office.
